This Melodion is air tight. It has been clean with dawn dish soap on the outside and the metal inside with alcohol on the reeds. the only down fall with this instrument is the plastic housing broke around the mouthpiece but luckily wend the mouthpieces is in it creates a seal so you don't lose air. for this reason I'm putting this listening as fair.
