This Gibson Les Paul Custom was made in the USA in 1969. It shows heavy wear including dings and dents and several areas where the original finish has flaked off. Despite the cosmetic wear, there are no breaks or repairs or other structural damage. The guitar has mid 1969 specs - no volute, no dot on the i, 1 piece mahogany body, 3 piece mahogany neck. Serial# 8860xx. All the parts are original except for the tone caps, and it has been refretted. It has the original patent sticker pickups which sound awesome. While the finish is original it is fairly rough and as mentioned above has flaked off in many places, and is a little cloudy in others. While there is no overspray there are numerous places where the black was touched up in spots where the original finish flaked off. This guitar weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces. It has been pro-setup in our store and plays and sounds great. It comes with the case in the pictures which is an original Gibson case from the early 70's.
