Here is a great sounding 1964 Fender P Bass! This vintage precision is in good shape overall and includes the original case.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, and laminate rosewood board. It has an L serial number, clay dots, and reverse gear tuners. The bass appears to be all original, though the pickup has been rewound. The neck and body finish are original and show plenty of wear throughout. The guard has cracked from shrinking and a piece on the bass side is missing. The frets show some wear but function well. This bass has clearly been someone's workhorse but remains a complete instrument.
It weighs in at 8lbs 8oz. The neck measures .820 to 1.000 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic 60s C shaped profile that is slimmer down low and fills out closer to the neck heel. This one plays great and sounds great. It really leaves nothing to be desired. It's warm, round, and punchy with plenty of clarity and character.
Ships in the original case. Includes what looks to be the original bridge cover and most likely a reproduction pickup cover.
