2024 Field Effect Tones (FET) Prescription Electronics Experience Fuzz

Formerly Ericeira Fuzz, FET is making some seriously incredible fuzz from Portugal. This is pedal #2 of his newer endeavor, tracing and recreating the Prescription Electronics Experience Fuzz, and it does not disappoint. I was his first customer after jumping on the chance.

One of the coolest parts is that you can engage the Swell and fuzz without requiring the Octave, which is something the original did not do. It is a really awesome addition.

The Prescription Electronics Experience fuzz is a fuzz based on the Foxx Tone Machine, built by Prescription Electronics, hand built by Jack Brossart (RIP) in the 90s. Jack took it a step further, adding a Swell feature, which acts like a Boss Slow Gear of sorts, but also effects the fuzz tone itself, squishing the sound.

The octave of an Experience fuzz is different in that is is pristine, glassy, and utterly gorgeous when you roll back the volume and tone, use your neck pickup, and go above the 12th fret. Honestly, there is nothing like it.

I have other pedals from FET, including his hybrid Zonk Machine he just did, which is absolutely exquisite. The man is incredible.
