Hybrid Germanium Silicon fuzz based on the very rare Interfax Harmonic Percolator, made famous by Steve Albini, RIP, who you should know if you don’t! I'm using the “stock values” (not the trace of Steve’s pedal, which we also sell on this channel) and selecting germanium transistors that will “sub octave“ when you dig in on your attack. This pedal sounds ridiculously good, cleans up glassy like a Fuzz Face, does the aforementioned octave thing, and if you like harmonic feedback, buckle up! “Harmonics” is the Fuzz control and governs the input signal, it‘s highly usable from 8:00 to 5:00 on the dial. “Balance” is Volume or Level. Not sure why those names, and both will silence the pedal if you turn them all the way down. There is a ton of boost headroom. Some builders offer a “diode lift out” toggle but it’s soooo loud without clipping, it’s in “why god why” territory. Message me with any questions and if someone buys it I’ll build another one!
