Fresh from a serious collection of vintage Japanese guitars, this classic Explorer copy remains in nearly perfect condition with bold wood grain showing through the natural finish. The Greco Explorer EX-800 model is an Ibanez Destroyer under a different brand name - construction is identical. The April 1984 serial number puts this near the end of the production run for this model, and by this point Greco was using a 2 screw truss rod cover.
All parts are original, including the pickups and the original hardshell case. Extremely comfortable rounded neck profile with full height frets and no divots in the rosewood fingerboard. The neck joint is rock solid and the guitar has never required any repairs. The crunchy 70's tone is perfectly suited to classic rock riffing.
