Neat refin of a great double cut from Gibson that likely started life in faded yellow. Decent refinish with imperfections including some spots you can detect the original yellow undercoat and a few random shiny spots. I'm not sure what type of paint was used (e.g. nitro, poly, etc...) but the finish is more on the satin side which is in keeping with what the original finish likely was. Most of the hardware and electronics appear to be original with the exception of the tone pot for the bridge which is push-push (original included) and strap buttons. When engaged, it acts similar to the rhythm circuit on a Jazzmaster, yeilding a more mellow, full, bass-y tone. Guitar weighs just over 6.5 lbs. The fretboard was cleaned and conditioned recently and restrung with fresh set of Ernie Ball 10's. Neck is a Gibson "Slim Taper" measuring .83" at the 1st fret and .92" at the 12th fret. Nut width is 1.69" increasing to 2.04" at the 12th.

Hardly any fret wear on this guitar. Guitar shows normal wear throughout. Random dings and dents but nothing significant. Some wear in the finish near the strap button on the upper bout. Slight finish cracking along the edge of the face of the headstock veneer and some wear around the face and top edge. A few scrapes by a couple knobs (neck volume, bridge tone) and light wear on the lower edge of the guitar. Pickups read 7.76k in the bridge and 7.81k in the neck.

Included original Gibson hardshell case in nice condition.
