Mint condition 2023 Gretsch USA Custom 14x10" tom rewrapped in a beautiful Red Sparkle. Why the rewrap? During a summer gig in direct sunlight, the original Black Glass wrap bubbled badly. It was decided to have the drum professionally rewrapped in classic Red Sparkle. The job was done by Precision Drum Company in upstate New York and it is absolutely flawless. In fact, I dare say Precision's work here exceeds Gretsch's original finish application. The edge of the wrap is feathered right up to and against the bearing edges - true craftsmanship. Original Gretsch heads seat with ease and spin freely. There is almost no play on the batter head - like new.
The drum is flawless and tunes up beautifully. Very deep, full and resonant. I think it's a worthy representation of That Great Gretsch Sound.
