Up for sale is a 1991 Rickenbacker 325JL John Lennon Signature Limited Edition electric guitar. Only 2000 were made! This one is #1622.
This 325JL model was entirely handcrafted in America using solid eastern rock maple with a rosewood fingerboard on a three-quarter scale neck. Onboard is three vintage Rickenbacker pickups and a vintage vibrato. Included is the original special silver case with crushed velvet interior.
This guitar is from one of Australia's largest private collections and is as close to mint as you will get. There no dents, marks or significant scratches at all. There are some very light superficial finish scratches on the back (it's not play wear) that can be easily polished out. Other than that, the tuners have tarnished a little, but this is natural and to be expected given it is 33 years old. The condition of this guitar is a solid 9.7 out of 10.
