Are you tired of the coldness associated with digital recording? Are you ready to add warmth and smoothness to the wavelengths of your music?
We have equipment that will take you back in time to an audiophile’s dream of soft, warm, luxurious productions.
This equipment belonged to KABA Research and Development, a recording technology company that was in business between the late 1970s and early 2000s. They developed and patented cassette duplication systems, among using and collecting other reel to reel devices from well known brands such as Sony, Otari, and Technics, Pioneer, and Nakamichi.
When the company dissolved, all equipment was relocated to a well taken care of storage unit and has sat untouched for 20 years. We carefully transported the equipment to our home base to give it all a second chance at life; to be used again to make beautiful sounds. It is truly a time capsule and a treasure trove for anyone looking to add this Otari MX5050 BII2 to their audio recordings.
While all equipment is functional as-is, minimum maintenance is still in progress. The current prices reflect as-is, and will be updated as work progresses.
