Pearl Steel Shell Snare Drum-6.5" x 14" - mid-1990's - Chrome Over Steel
This snare sounds great and is in good cosmetic condition. There is some VERY light pitting on the shell, but I believe it will polish up very nicely. I didn't do anything before taking these pictures except to wipe the dust off with a dry cloth.
I usually play this snare with just a touch of Moon Gel or the thinnest muffling ring that I have. It sounds nice, open, airy with just a pleasant amount of ring and crack. It's in the same sound category as a Ludwig Acrolite, in my opinion.
Great Puresound snare wires and heads with some life left in them.
