Greco RG-850 made in Japan by Fujigen (FGN) in January 1990. These guitars are very rare and were made to high Japanese quality and standards. They are as close to original RBs that you can find but without the crazy expensive price tag. They were made throughout the 1980's and production stopped in early 1990, so this is one of the last ones they made. The body and neck are based on the original 60s and 70s original RB design, but with a more comfortable 10" fretboard radius that the later RBs have. There is some very slight honest playing wear on the guitar but is in excellent condition for its age. The sound unplugged is amazing and plugged in is pure Ricky. The tailpiece has been swapped for a Winfield harp tailpiece to facilitate easier string changes, but the original Ricky style tailpiece is included.
