MJT makes bodies that are as good, and in some cases, better than the Fender Custom Shop. I've built countless guitars for clients over the years using MJT. I rarely build anymore, but I still have the need to relic parts. I've mastered the art of aging guitars over the 2 decades I was doing it and am happy to offer this amazing body for sale.
It's a lightweight hardtail Alder body in Olympic White Nitro and was given a heavy relic treatment. It looks like a true vintage guitar that has seen the world several times over. It's super light at 4 pounds, 6 ounces with the hardware shown (relic neck plate, strap knobs, output jack and string ferrules). The neck plate has 0777 stamped into it, and was going to be a good luck, gambler type of build.
The neck is up for sale as well.
The body is new, made and painted by MJT, and all the relic work was professionally done right here in Atlanta. All the relic hardware shown is included.
