Gretsch 20/12/13/16" VIDEO 60's Round Badge Drum Set - Collector Grade Aqua Satin Flame

See the video! Here is a 60's Gretsch Round Badge set, finished in extremely clean aqua satin flame! This set consists of a 14x20" bass drum, 8x12", and 9x13" mounted toms, and a 16x16" floor tom. The 8x12" and 9x13" are mounted with its original center tom post that is smoothly functional. Satin flame finishes are notorious for scratching and “spider-webbing”, and this set has managed to escape that wear nearly entirely with the exception of the cracks where the head collars seat, and some snare rub on the rack toms! There is a little bit of cosmetic wear on the bass drum hoops as well as some very slight discoloration, but the absence of scratches and blemishes throughout the visible surface of this set gives it excellent kit for a Gretsch collector. Steve’s notes: It’s hard to argue with this one! As noted, the satin flame finishes were notorious for scratching and developing little “spider web” crazing in the finish. This set shows like a brand new kit from the audience side since the rub on the small toms is facing the player. Hard to find a set like this in better shape.
