Edwards E-SA-168GJ 2015 - Alpine White Gloss

If you haven't heard of Edwards before, you are missing out! It's a sub brand of ESP guitars that are made in Japan and are not seen much outside of the Japanese market. The attention to detail on this guitar is stunning, and it plays just as awesome as it looks! I have several Edwards guitars and they play just as good, if not better than my custom shop Gibsons.

This particular Edwards model is not very common. From what I can tell, this was a special run made only for a particular music store in Japan. The similarities between this and an ES-355 can't be ignored, but this is its own animal. Instead of maple/poplar/maple for the body, like an ES-355, the top and back of these Edwards are made of solid carved hard maple, and the center block is made of mahagony. The medium wide frets and the real ebony board are just beautiful. The finish has aged to a light yellow in many places to give it a nice mojo. The finish is almost entirely free from blemishes, buckle rash, or dings. There are a few light scratches from gentle use and a small crack in the clear coat next to the bass side and treble side of the nut (pictured as best I could). Specs are:

Body- solid carved Maple top and back. Maple sides. Mahagony center block. Gloss poly finish

Neck- one piece mahagony neck with beautiful Ebony fretboard. 22 frets - barely any fret wear. 24.75" scale, 12 inch radius.

Hardware- slight tarnishing and wearing of the gold hardware. Bigsby tremolo. All original electronics with factory Seymore Duncan Seth Lover pickups SH-55 (neck) and SH-55 (bridge). Planet Waves locking tuners.
