Yamaha SG700S 1999 - See Thru Emerald Green

1999 made in Japan Yamaha SG700S is all original and in excellent condition for a 25-year-old guitar with nearly no visible signs of play wear.
See thru Emerald Green gloss finished top with gold plated hardware. Back of body, back of neck and headstock are gloss black. Headstock has a beautiful gold colored motif and “YAMAHA” on the front with SG700S engraved truss rod cover.
This was known in its early days as the Les Paul killer that combines aspects of the Gibson Les Paul and Gibson SG as well. The Yamaha SG model was once donned by guitar legend Carlos Santana as the most famous among several other artists.
Mahogany body with unbound mahogany set neck with rosewood fretboard. Beautiful pearl style block inlays for fret markers. Two volume and two tone knobs also gold colored. Neck has a slim C shape with .76” at the 1st fret and .96“ at the 12th fret. Weight is 8 lbs. 11.3 ounces. Two Alnico 5 humbuckers with push/push coil taps on the tone knobs. Strung with D’Addario EXL110 10-46 gauge nickel wound strings with low action. Included is a hard shell case also in excellent condition and fully functional.
