This is a re-voiced version of the digital fuzz section of the limited release 'Bad Tones Forever' pedal previously made in collaboration with Deaf Club.
It combines faux-digital (PLL chip) and analog fuzz at the output for a low-bit rate/glitchy sound.
In the switch-up position, you get great tracking with both guitar and bass, and an upper-mid focused digital sound.
In the switch-down position, you get good tracking with bass, but poor tracking with guitar, leading to sometimes octave/sometimes en-harmonic ring-modulator/sometimes harmonic overtones. This setting gives a more hollow/open midrange tone.
The Ugly Trash also includes a Toneality control to adjust the high-frequencies and overall vibe of the sound, and a Loudness control for volume.
