If you are looking at this, you probably already know what it is. If there is such a thing as a classic, vintage DAW, this is it. Although 20 years old in its design, the industry is in some ways just now catching up with it. Known for it’s “analogue warmth,” even when pushed into the red, it still sounds great all these years later. Many radio hits were created on these just a few years ago, and here is a fully equipped, fully functional set up in perfect condition, that’s been parked in a smoke-free, climate-controlled living room all of its existence.

The 16-channel interface is a pleasure to use with 17 long-throw faders, a weighted jog/scrub wheel and real, heavy-duty transport controls making mousing around almost unnecessary. These things run with Zero latency because all of the processing is done directly on the PCI cards, even its own effects, and this system has two, sporting 16 tracks each for a total of 32 tracks. Record up to 16 channels at the same time with two input AD cards and 16 channels of output with 16 channels of DA output at either 44.1 or 48 KHz and 24-bit. PARIS software is very intuitive and simple to run compared to most others, designed and acts like a traditional analogue mixing board. All factory manuals, documentation, software, cables and components are included. PARIS runs on Mac OS 9 and Windows 95/98, 10 (64-bit) and XP. It is the recent demise of my faithful old Mac G-4 is why I am selling it at all. All components are in excellent condition, aesthetically, physically and electronically. If you want one, this is the finest you’ll find. Sold as a system only.
