Why We Love It
This limited-production, ash-bodied homage to the 1970s Telecaster Deluxe is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. As part of a special 2023 run for a select Japanese retailer, this guitar combines stunning aesthetics with exceptional playability. The buttery-smooth action and remarkable build quality make it a true standout, whether on stage or in the studio.
Condition
This Telecaster is in Mint condition—essentially as new. Purchased brand new, it shows no signs of prior use and has no fret wear. The truss rod functions perfectly, and all electronics operate as if they just came off the factory line. Included with the purchase are the original Fender gig bag, warranty card and wrench. Weighing in at 9.5 pounds, it’s set up with medium action, optimized relief, perfectly adjusted pickup height, and dialed-in intonation across the neck. Factory Fender nickel-plated steel .009-.042 strings are ready for your first performance. Optionally, we can provide a hard case for an additional $150.
Overview
This guitar is part of a short production 2023 Fender Special Run with limited availability. The use of ash for the body provides a full, detailed tone characterized by punchy bass and articulate attack. The vintage-inspired 3-ply black pickguard beautifully complements the gloss polyester Vintage White finish on the body. Featuring a 25.5-inch scale U-profile maple neck, this guitar feels solid and comfortable in hand, striking the perfect balance between thickness and playability. The oversized 70s Telecaster Deluxe headstock showcases Fender Vintage “F” tuners and is adorned with Telecaster Deluxe decals. With a smooth gloss urethane finish, the neck features 21 expertly finished vintage-size frets and a 1.615-inch wide real bone nut. The 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge ensures excellent adjustability for optimal string height and intonation.
Electronics and Tone
Equipped with Fender Wide Range Humbuckers, this Telecaster delivers a thick, tonally complex output while retaining remarkable detail and jangle. The pickups provide an expressive sound profile that excels in both clean and overdriven settings, ensuring excellent note definition for chords and lead lines alike. Experience the rich, dynamic tones this guitar has to offer!
