This Orban 8000 sounds fantastic, it can be used for many things, I’ve seen them used as a compressor / limiter for music production, voice overs, as well as a great air chain addition even as a headphone processor where the main air chain is digital.
A great tech / engineer can turn this into a great studio compressor.
Comes with XLR to pigtails. You either composite out or RCA / Phono
Powers up, passes audio, sounds great. There are others for sale in the market (cheaper), but they seem to be all “for parts” or untested.
This one seems to be a “mid run edition” which places it around 1979-1980 incredible that something 45 years old still sounds so great.
