Up for grabs is a vintage Lyra Achrop from the late 30s early 40s. These were made for Oscar Schmidt, and are very similar to Kay, Harmony, May Bel, Stadrone, and other similar brands of the time.
This one is set up with light gauge strings and actually functions. The action becomes higher around the 7th to 12th fret. It’s nice and low in first position. This is actually what I would call a functional wall hanger. It’s great for back porch picking our slide playing.
The bad news is there’s a obvious crack repair on the back. The repair is solid and this will make a great addition to your funky vintage guitar collection. Please feel free to ask questions.
