Here's an awesome Gibson-style Tokai-made banjo I believe from the early '80s. If you're a guitar player this is like the equivalent of a rad Ibanez or Greco Les Paul.

This thing is in great shape and sounds awesome. It's loud and has that classic Gibson bluegrass banjo tone. The neck is super comfortable as well. This would be a suitable main banjo (or maybe a great backup) for any picker, and a great choice for a beginning looking to upgrade out of something like a Goodtime without breaking the bank. The build quality is excellent and more similar to any number of pricier banjos I've owned. It also has these really stylish inlays one of which says "Hummingbird".

As far as I know everything is original though I think the sliding 5th string capo component was added by someone at some point. It also has this cool black deering made head on it which is said to darken the tone a little bit.

Overall, an awesome deal on an awesome banjo. I'm just selling cause its a bit redundant in my current line up.

This includes a nice hardshell case.
