Vintage 1950s Western Electric Dynamic Microphone, Ring mounted, works, ABC

Offering a vintage 1950's Western Electric Dynamic Microphone (with reproduced ABC flag.) This was once a hand-held military communications carbon mic which no longer functioned. We completely cleaned and physically restored the casing. We removed the old dead carbon element and installed a new dynamic capsule that still retains that typical "mid-rangy" comms audio profile with strong output. (Check out the voice sample on the listing video.) Also, the PTT button has been bypassed so the mic is live all the time. Finally, to complete the vintage look, we added a reproduced ABC flag, mounted the mic to a 5" ring support, and threaded it onto the adjustable-height display desk stand - 15-19", with the fully extended photo last in the lineup. (You can also mount this ring mic to any other standard desk or floor stand.) A new 4" cable has been hardwired to the mic with a 1/4" male phono plug.
