Welcome to Musicdungeon, you are looking at a great piece. This is the Fernandes Japan APB/Gravity 4 String Electric Bass Guitar. 34" scale. 1.57" nut width. 8 lbs 5 oz.
Fernandes has been building exceptional instruments for decades, and the Japan pieces are highly sought after by players.
This beauty starts off with a mid-lightweight oil finished ash body.
This allows the woods to react naturally enabling fantastic natural resonance while retaining note articulation.
Dual FGI pickups, a P & J, allow for a full palette of tones- from classic warmth to modern day cut.
To that end, this APB also has the 2 band FGI active preamp, allowing you to dial everything in to perfection.
The maple/maple neck here is super comfortable- .76" 1st fret to .87" 12th fret neck depth.
Add to that the deep body cutaways and heeless feel offering access to all 24 frets, and the oil finish, and you have a fast, comfortable player.
The look here is classic and beautiful- the natural oil finish shows off the grains, and the gold hardware adds a great aesthetic.
This Fernandes is in very good overall condition- typical light play wear and the battery box has been replaced as you can see in pics.
The frets here are clean- set up with action just over 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
There is no case included, but we pack for safe arrival as well as insire in full.
This is your chance to get your hands on a gorgeous bass from Fernandes Japan.
Don't pass this by!
