This Gibson L5-CES is owned by George Benson

This guitar is a work of art! It has clearly been well-loved and put to good use over the years, made evident by the plethora of cosmetic wear throughout. None of the wear is cause for concern, or rather, the guitar is structurally in good shape. Straight neck, no wood cracks. Light fret buzz, can be mitigated during setup. First and sixth string tuning pegs are bent but they function well. Minor finish cracks near the heel. Some small cracks in the fretboard, as is common with old ebony boards. There's a bit of excess glue alongside a fret. Most notably, the electronics do not currently pass signal and will need to be repaired. Listed in "Fair" condition for this reason, though after receiving some electronics work it will surely be closer to "very good". Comes with hardshell case.
