A professionally serviced TASCAM 58 half inch open reel 8 track recorder. First manufactured in 1983, the TASCAM 58 and 58-OB were specifically targeted at serious production professionals.
This unit was rescued from rough treatment by a shipping company, and has some mild bumps and bruises to the exterior, but the issues are strictly cosmetic and nothing too ugly. All functions have been tested and passed, and the unit is expected to reliably perform at or exceeding original factory spec.
