The Legacy II series was made after Jensen bought Advent around 1990. I think they were made in Schiller Park, Illinois. I would recommend using these with an amp with a power of about 60 watts per channel. My 25x2 amp sounds great with these, but will not get them up to their maximum volume. If you use these with an amp that has 100 watts per channel, you won't want to turn the volume up past 5. The cabinets are in good shape overall with some minor scratches on the tops and sides. The fact that they used solid pecan wood instead of fake wood grain veneer makes the speakers look really handsome. I replaced the foam surrounds with a kit from Simply Speakers. The new surrounds are high quality and made in the USA. I used a healthy amount of glue, so the speakers should be set to pump out the volume for another 35 years or more. If you have any questions, or if you have more info to share about these speakers, I would appreciate hearing from you.
