1966 Fender Vibro Champ 6-Watt 1x8" Guitar Combo - Black Panel
Amazing little vintage Fender Vibro Champ is in pretty good condition for being almost six (6) decades old. Transformer, tube chart “PL” stamp marking, and serial number puts it at a 1966.
Repro Fender logo on the front. No back upper panel. Volume, treble, and intensity pots are a slightly scratchy; does not affect the tone when playing. Original tubes from the previous owner who stated that they are period correct and most likely original: RCA 6V6 and 5Y3GT rectifier. Ted Weber Signature 15W 4OHM 8SIGA-S4 8” alnico speaker replaced the KEI Kustom 8” speaker. A brand new Mogami 3082 Speaker Cable is being used. 3 prong plug was installed during the previous owner’s ownership by his local Fender tech. Panel has a few dings and what not (shown in pictures).
