Every so often, the fretted sister to this guitar comes to market. Very seldom do we see a fretless from this era, let alone a company's flagship model. Back in the 1980's, the RBX lineup was championed by the legendary Billy Sheehan, who had his own signature Yamaha RBX model at the time. The RBX800AF packs all of the goodness of the RBX800A (A for Active) in a fretless package, strictly for those bassists out there who refuse to be limited by mere frets.

This sleeper is a one-owner instrument and was treated well during its life. There are numerous scratches and minor dents on the gloss black body, with heavier playwear in the playing area. There is minor belt worming on the reverse of the body. The headstock has some minor scratches on the face and minor dents on the tips. This bass was recently set-up by our expert techs. This package includes a Gator soft case.
