Extremely cool vintage Tascam 48 reel-to-reel, unrestored and in need of some love and elbow grease. It turns on, channels pass signal, motors work — but it’s been sitting a long time and needs a full restoration.

This Tascam 48 is being sold as is, with no returns. I believe the heads work but I can’t guarantee it. The pinch rollers are gummy (so gummy in fact that when I tried to remove the gunk, I made a small mess on face of the machine). It was a champ many years ago but it’s been sitting for a decade.
