This is a rare pear shaped Lyon & Healy tenor guitar from the 1920s. It’s not common to see one in very good condition like this one is. It has planetary tuners that work well, and its nut appears to have been readied for the addition of extra strings at some point. Beautiful fret marker inlays. This tenor guitar was purchased around 20 years ago from Intermountain Banjo and then fitted with a new wooden bridge with a bone saddle by San Francisco Guitarworks. At its widest, the body is 11 3/4”, and the soundhole is 3” at its widest. Scale length is 22.5”, and the nut width of 1 1/8”.
