The fables Dolby Trick made famous as the session’s “secret weapon” by Bruce Swedien and Michael Jackson on the thriller album. Later made even more famous by John Lennon as it then was dubbed the “Lennon Trick” annd then angain by Queen on Freddie Mercury’s vocals. Every unit we modify goes through a 90 point modification, cleaning and inspection. All the inputs and outputs have been cleaned, and the unit has been serviced from head to toe. This particular unit has the IEC mod as well for modern studio use! I also have a pair for sale here as well as well as stereo 365 and 362 modules if you’d rather them. This unit works great and has no issues. buttons don’t all have bulbs but for the recording studio Dolby trick, you only owe the far two left anyway. faceplate is very clean as is the modified Cat 22 card.

I also sell clear plexi covers separately to show off your units Modified Card if desired. I can throw in a Dolby branded black metal cover for free if you like but keep in mind it will hide the card from clients so we recomend the clear covers. We hand make them here in our shop and mounting hardware is provided.
