Here's an interesting guitar. I know almost nothing about it. My best guess is it's someone's project guitar made out of a 1970s Japanese model similar to a Harmony or a Teisco. It would be great to harvest the pickups from or to restore to part of it's former glory.
I believe it would play fine once someone replaced the missing neck nut. Without it you can't string it right now. You would probably do best just getting a new neck for it. For parts or going to need a lot of work.
Definitely a unique guitar. someone chopped it up good, which gives it a fun story. You won't see another like this. Pickups are unique. I believe they're similar to the kind that gave the Cure their signature sound. Robert Smith even pulled out his and put them into a jazz master when we got money to upgrade.
Not sure what it's worth. I bought it with the intensions to restore but don't have time and am just trying to get my money back. Similar models in decent condition are going for $300ish. Make me an offer?
