1951 Gibson Super 400 for sale in excellent condition.
Likely refretted multiple times throughout the years. Current frets are in excellent condition. There are file marks on the treble side binding most likely from an over zealous fret dressing job. Action is perfect, bridge has plenty of room to be raised/lowered to taste. Tuners are original and functioning with ease.
Fitted with a DeArmond Rhythm Chief pickup. Original pickguard is missing, most likely removed to install the pickup and lost. Original proprietary cable had deteriorated over the years and a brand new one was fabricated that works perfectly.
Gibson hardcase with its famous pink interior included. Although we cannot verify if it is original to this guitar, it is a perfect fit and was obviously built for this body style.
