Amazing clone of super rare Jen Fuzz and Sustain pedal. Barely used, just sitting in my gear closet and needs a proper home. Jimmy Behan of Super Electric makes some of the best, well-made fuzz recreations on the planet and this is no exception. His builds and wiring are gorgeous. Extremely well-cared for, never gigged.

The Super Electric Ella Megablast is a re-creation of the very rare Jen Fuzz & Sustain fuzz from the 70s.
Built on a Super Electric designed PCB, it uses the stock circuit which has been traced from my two original Jen Fuzz & Sustain pedals, which were used for reference. The only tweak I've made was to adjust the output level slightly to ensure unity gain when engaged and avoid a volume drop.
It is quite a unique fuzz with a long sustain, which rather than decaying naturally, keeps going at full pelt over its duration until spluttering out.
The Sustain control sets the duration of the sustain time rather than the gain level. The Blend control goes between the fuzz and a clean sound. The Level control sets the output level.
I've added a couple of mods for extra versatility:
Toggle 1: bypasses the Blend control, boosting the gain and output level for a furious fuzz sound. Usefully, the Blend control acts as a filter control in this setting by rolling off some low end when turned down.
Toggle 2: on this setting with the Blend turned down, the pedal turns into a nice overdrive/distortion pedal, with the Sustain knob now acting as a more typical gain control. Turning up the Blend control will add some glitchy crackle and spit.
With both mod switches engaged, the pedal turns into a rampant glitch fuzz monster, with the Blend control being used to adjust the amount of glitch/crackle vs fuzz. Trying various combos of mod switch/knob settings provide a wide range of fuzz/distortion flavours and is a lot of fun to play with.
