All original 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard with Tim Shaws from the Norlin Era. Beautifully aged natural finish. Weighs in around 10 pounds. The maple neck has a little bit of flame, and it’s slightly thicker than the 70s slim necks. Feels great in the hand.
Original Tim Shaw pickups, ink stamped 498 1080 (neck) and 499 381 (bridge). Dunlop dual design strap buttons installed, original strap buttons are in the case. Gibson USA OHSC is a little beat up yet functional. The combination lock doesn’t work.
Very clean guitar with normal wear from this era. Dings, light scratches, finish checking on the neck near the headstock, and cracks in the neck binding. Solid with no breaks or repairs. I found just the right angle and lighting to capture the finish checking on the neck, otherwise hard to see.
Recently setup with 10s.
Please look at pictures closely for reference and feel free to ask any questions.
I’m not a dealer so no returns. Ships to continental US only.
Thanks for looking.
