I purchased this from Northwest Vintage Guitars just a few months ago. What we have here is an ash- bodied Greco Spacy Sounds Bass with a Rosewood fretboard. It's a 1980 model, and was manufactured by Fujigen, whose quality had increased dramatically from the prior Matsumoto plant. According to Northwest Vintage, this bass features vintage style hardware on an Ash body, in Vintage White. It's well-made and resonant, and the PU109 split coil pickup (10.2 ohms on the meter) is punchy and warm.
The nut measures 1.69", the 1st fret depth is .87", and it grows to .96" at the 12th. The neck is a nice chunky C with a 70's P Bass feel. There's easily 75% fret life remaining, and the current wear is moderate. It's a great player, and the creamy Vintage White finish gives it a cool vintage vibe. The bass weighs in at 9.68 lbs., and includes a gig bag.
Please ask all questions before buying. Sale will be final, unless the bass is lost or damaged in transit.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
NOTE: Video provided for demo purposes of this model only. It is not me, nor is it of the actual bass I'm selling.
