Vintage Gibson 1960's Patent Number PAF humbucker cover set in Chrome Finish.
These are a great set of vintage covers correct for a host vintage mid 60's Gibsons. Gibson switched from nickel plating to chrome plating in early 1965 as the nickel plating was prone to dulling from oxidation which was likely a cause for customer complaint. People like shiny guitars! Models including the SG Standard, ES-335, Trini Lopez, ES-175 and many many others used these chrome covers. This set is from 1965 and they are functionally identical to early 60's PAF and Patent PAF covers in terms of the thickness and dimensions, the only difference is the chrome plating!
