Fender MIJ Fretless Jazz Bass 2015 -Unbelievable Mods

Fender Made in Japan Fretless Jazz Bass, 2015 model. I bought this from the original owner who brought this with him when he moved to the mainland USA. These Made in Japan models are hard to find and highly coveted. The neck is a slim C profile with the action set pretty low and easy to play. It has some light scuffs on the body and a couple of small indentations in the finish, but nothing major, and nothing that affects playability. I've tried to capture these in my pictures.

Stellartone ToneStyler Passive EQ Control

This Bass Ten is a 10 position EQ control featuring 8 high cut /mid cut resonance filters plus a "virtual tone pot" loading circuit and true bypass. It is compatible with passive, high impedence basses. ToneStylers start with the "True Bypass" circuit at maximum clockwise position #10 - this offers the hottest and brightest output from your pickups.  The adjacent circuit #9 is "Virtual Tone Pot on 10", which duplicates a tone pot's subtle reduction in high treble when set to maximum brightness. Sequenced in audio taper, each detent connects a discrete capacitance value, shifting the roll-off frequency and the maximum resonant peak of the pickup's output.
