From an estate, so I don't know the history, but someone showered a lot of expensive restoration love on this fine old bone. Fluted slide still very smooth, no hitches. Slide plating still nice. No slide lock from the factory. It's so nice it must be a newer lacquer finish, but care was taken to not buff too hard. The engraving is still crisp. The horn is branded with a couple of different serial numbers which suggest mid 1930's. The bore size is marked LM (large medium in Olds speak) on both sections. I think the case is original and it will protect it during shipping. This horn deserves a new case, however. Notice the only flaws I could find were on the bell (see pictures). A golden age professional instrument ready to go. Alaska and Hawaii extra.
