This guitar is from the latest batch of Protocaster "NL Series" guitars!! Josh at Protocaster has been building, restoring and refinishing guitars for many years but this series is intended to take everything to the next level. To add all the telltale signs inside and out of a 50's guitar, from historically accurate marking, pencil dating, router and dowel marks, and of course the finish!
Josh is well known for his period correct aging, refinishing and restoration of vintage instruments, but now has decided to make building these "NL" series guitars as much a priority as his refinishing. His amazing skill at doing refinishing and the demand for his work forced building these guitars to take a back seat, until now!!!
His hand carved necks feel amazing in your hand, like a good 50s tele!!! The neck specs are on the spec sheet, also check out the video, these guitars sound great!!!! The pickups were custom wound by Rob at Gemini pickups!!!!
Comes with an awesome aged and lacquered tweed thermometer case done by Josh!!!!
