Black Cat Chicago Anti-Life Device (based on EarthQuaker Devices Life Pedal V3)

The Anti-Life Device from Black Cat Chicago is based on EarthQuaker Devices' Life Pedal V3. Perfect for anyone looking for that high-gain crunchy distortion with the sizzling octaves. But unlike the pedal the Anti-Life Device is based on, instead of 3 clipping options there are 4. OP is the full-on maximum volume of the OpAmp mode. Si LED is the 2 silicon diodes and an LED arranged in an asymmetrical clipping for the smooth compressed crunch like a tube amp. Si is the dual silicon diodes mode giving you that classic crunch you know and love from a Rat-like distortion pedal. Ge is the dual germanium diodes mode for an additional flavor not found in the pedal it's based on. Other than the 4-way mode knob, the Boost knob controls the amount of clean boost to increase your volume for leads and easily switch on/off via the Boost footswitch, DIST controls the amount of gain to dial in the amount of crunch to your liking, Filter controls the high frequency, turn counterclockwise for more high-end and clockwise for less, Amplitude controls the volume of the distortion effect, and Octave blends in the analog octave to give you the added sizzles on top of the high-gain crunch activates via the Octave footswitch. And yes, to make it extra sinister, the graphic also glows in the dark😈☠️

*Please note that all Black Cat Chicago pedals are handmade by me in my tiny Chicago apartment.  Everything that went into the pedal such as soldering all the components, graphics on the enclosures, drilling holes in the enclosures are all done by myself.  It's really a one person operation here.  Due to the handmade nature of making each pedal, there are bound to be some tiny imperfections in the finish, sometimes there might be light scratches on the enclosure or the footswitch might not be perfectly centered.  But they are all brand new unless specifically noted .  Thank you for your understanding and for supporting small pedal makers like me!
