Sony TC-758 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder ( TESTED)

Great sounding fairly rare Sony TC 758 Reel to Reel tape recorder, This is the only model Sony produced that plays the larger 10 inch reels and is also auto reverse. This model not only plays in reverse but also records in both directions . Some feel that this is Sonys best sounding Reel to Reel made, and I personally feel it is one of the best looking ever produced by any.

I opened this one up and took the pinch roller assembly apart and cleaned out all the old grease, cleaned and lubed all the controls and slide switches with deoxit d5 and fader lube . Everything I tested is working and functioning as it should , this includes the VU meters , lamps, fast forward, reverse ,play, the heads rotating on the turret, counter,source and tape switch working when recording to listen to the way it's being taped or the original recording and also taping in reverse worked as well. The main face plate has some scratches and there are a few scuffs on the wood sides but overall this is a very nice looking and well functioning Reel to Reel tape recorder. The reels and hubs are not included and I am currently only shipping to the lower 48 states.
