Electric Love Norrsken- A collaboration EarthQuaker Devices

Electric Love, a venture dedicated to harnessing the power of music for life-saving cancer research, has teamed up with industry innovator Jamie Stillman of EarthQuaker Devices to introduce a groundbreaking new effects pedal: the Norrsken.

A modern interpretation of the rare 1970s Swedish guitar pedal known as the Carlin Compressor, the Norrsken is no ordinary fuzz pedal. It features a versatile array of squishy fuzz tones and an active 3-band EQ for exceptional tone-shaping flexibility.

The Norrsken is equipped with six controls: Compression, Fuzz, Volume, Bass, Mids, and Treble. It includes a soft touch buffered bypass switching system and is powered by a standard 9-volt negative center external DC adapter (no battery compartment).

Beyond delivering unique fuzz tones, the Norrsken has a greater mission: raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). All profits from the sale of the Norrsken will be donated directly to BCRF to support ongoing research. Electric Love pledges a minimum donation of $1,000 and will publish the total donation amount. A detailed breakdown of contributions from each purchase will also be shared with customers to ensure transparency.

The Norrsken is the latest in a series of impactful projects. In 2023, Electric Love released Aquatone, a groundbreaking collaboration with Brian Wampler where over $15,000 was donated to BCRF. The company’s commitment to cancer research began in 2022 with the launch of a trio of innovative pedals aimed at raising awareness and funds for this critical cause.
