Boy, you NEVER see these guitars for sale. The were only made from 2000-2004, handmade in Japan and never really meant for the US market, but here we are. Brand new strings, plays like absolute BUTTER. If you've ever heard one of these amazing guitars you know what I'm talking about.
Specs: A solid Spruce top and solid Rosewood back and sides provide superior tone and timeless aesthetic beauty, while the Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard offer the supple playing surface professionals expect. Other design touches like the abalone ring rosette, Rosewood bridge and beautiful gloss finish add to the instrument's traditional appeal.
Yamaha's exclusive proprietary preamp design captures every nuance of the tone - deep, warm and bright with the openness and clarity that make the acoustic guitar unique. Like the Compass series, the LLX-400 also features an adjustable condenser microphone mounted directly inside the sound hole and an in-bridge piezo crystal pickup. The results are nothing short of stunning.
This guitar has been gigged with and does have minor finish blemishes but no cracks whatsoever. The case is pretty beat up, cosmetically. It still secures the guitar wonderfully but again...it was gigged with. One of the hinges is a bit rusty and bent, but they all close the way they should. I just want to be sure to disclose everything. The price INCLUDES shipping and insurance!
Tonally, this is truly one of the best guitars you'll ever play.
