The victim and the savoir are a bad combination in love, right? But that could be said about acquiring guitars. Simple really: we are all victims because of the inflated prices we are forced to pay. Case in point. You see this Masada? Well, the equivalence is a Japanesse Fender "62 Reissue." The price of a 62 Reissue? You know, $1249.00. Over a grand spent on a 62 reissue means less spent on a Ampeg; no funds for a Ampeg means no tone for your band; no tone equates to fewer gigs; less gigs means less money, less money gives reasons for the misses to find a better option.

That's where the victim-savoir ideology comes from in this byline. She's all at the club when this happens.

Other guy: Are you here alone?
Her: Why, yes. (Fluttering eyelashes.)
OG: Yes, bring her (and what will you have?). Yes, sex on the beach.
Her: Thank you, (sigh).
OG: You are so fine, so why are you sitting all alone?
Her: Well, I have a man, but I'm angry with him, and I'm just blowing off steam.
OG: Compassionate hand on shoulder. (The oldest technique in the book.)
Her: He's a musician, and his take-home pay doesn't take us home.
OG: Now, now, there, young lady.

Do you see it? Yes, this is where the savior comes in on his Arabian charger and will be her knight in shining armor. Yes, I've seen this many times, and I certainly don't want you to experience it. What I'm offering you is the Japanese equivalent that's equal in quality to give you more options. An Ampeg SVT means better tone, more gigs, more money, and, of course, the avoidance of the bar scene. Now about this bass.

This bass is in very good condition. Yes, there is ware on the hardware and a few dings here and there, but mind you, nothing that takes away from that you make a grown man cry experience. This bass is, of course, original. This has an alder body, and the neck is maple with a Indian rosewood board. This bass has a fresh setup with new strings, for performance straight out of the box. Frets? Plenty of fret life left. As for the weight? It is light and balanced, and the tone is 668. Yep, that would be the next-door neighbor of the beast.

In closing, my friends, shopping for a messiah is complicated, and a sex on the beach, villainess. There's something to be said about loyalty. Just remember people; the only people you owe your loyalty to are those who never made you question theirs. This is all about corrective behavior. Begin with the end in mind.
