Vintage RARE 1970's RCA MA-38 gooseneck adapter and connector for HK-97 dynamic cardioid microphone satin chrome

   You are looking at a unique, rare and older 1970's era RCA MA-38 model gooseneck with built in lower pistol grip, on / off switch and cable connector. 

 This very hard to come by accessory was sold by RCA and was used mostly with the RCA HK-97 dynamic cardioid model mic as seen in pics # 11 & 12. You'll notice that the adapter and cable connector utilize a rare 5 pin connection.

 Back when RCA was outsourcing their manufacturing to the Japanese they embraced the different type connection. I have only seen this 5 pin connection on a couple RCA and Japanese mics from the 1970's.

 This unique adapter was designed to screw onto any desk of floor stand you have. Once it was on the stand you then attached your RCA HK-97 mic to the end of the gooseneck giving you plenty of reach and any angle you needed. The adapter is in perfect physical and working condition. No issues.

 The On / Off switch works perfectly. The cable connector that attached to the bottom of the MA-38 adapter is included and you'll have to build a custom cable of choice. If you have an RCA HK-97 or any other mic that utilizes this rare 5 pin connection then this will be a very special adapter for you.
