For sale is a rare 1998 Gibson Custom Shop Historic ‘59 Reissue Les Paul in a breathtaking Heritage Cherry Sunburst Flame Top, complete with its original hard-shell case. This guitar offers an incredible balance of collectible value and exceptional playability, embodying the iconic Les Paul appeal. Coming from the legendary "good wood" era (1993-1999), this guitar features one of the stunning flame tops for which these models are celebrated—truly a showpiece that stands apart in any collection.
Although the guitar has been played, it remains in very good condition. You’ll find some light scratches, dings from regular use, an extra strap button hole on the bottom, and some wear on the back, but these imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect its performance. I confidently rate its condition at 8.5 out of 10. Please note that the guitar does not come with paperwork, as Gibson did not issue certificates of authenticity for this model in 1998.
