The limited-edition Fender CuNiFe Telecaster Custom Journeyman Relic electric guitar lets you craft a signature tone with vintage vibe. Fender Custom Shop built this stunning Telecaster with a two-piece select alder body and gorgeous Journeyman Relic sparkle finishes so you can achieve the coveted aged aesthetic. A pair of dynamic pickups—a CuNiFe Wide Range humbucker in the neck and a Custom Shop hand-wound Original Blackguard in the bridge—provide a blend of warm and articulate tones.
Vintage-Style Playability With Modern Versatility
The quartersawn AA flame maple neck has an easy-playing '60s Oval C profile for comfort and speed. A 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 narrow-tall frets also enhance playability. The 3-way switch, volume knob and tone controls offer a variety of tones from the dual pickups. With the Bigsby B5 Vibrato tailpiece and RSD J-Bridge, you can add shimmering pitch effects. Overall, this Telecaster gives you a vintage playing experience with contemporary tonal options.
Pickups for Iconic Telecaster Tone
The CuNiFe Wide Range humbucker in the neck position provides a warm, full tone suited for rhythm playing or soloing. Switch to the bridge position for the bright, defined sound of the Custom Shop handwound Blackguard single-coil. With the three-way selector, you can also combine the pickups for more complexity. Roll back the tone controls to go from a jangly funk groove to a woman-tone blues lead. The tonal possibilities cover all your Telecaster needs.
Custom Finish and Premium Appointments
The Relic sparkle finishes provide an elegantly aged look. Black binding and rope purfling accentuate the body's contours. Other premium features include a bone nut, wing string tree, matching painted headcap, 3-ply parchment pickguard and vintage-style tuning machines. A deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity are also included.
