The Monk Boost is my take on the classic 18v Colorsound Powerboost.
It adds some modern features, including a Master Volume and my transparent fuzz buffer found on The Pompeii. The gain control has been tuned to allow for an earlier onset of overdrive without sacrificing the underrated clean boost capabilities of the original. Lastly, a "Noise" trimmer is also fitted into the gain control portion of the circuit to allow the user to fine tune the level of maximum gain and artifacts present at the end of the gain range.
